Sensors and Instrumentation, Aircraft/Aerospace, Energy Harvesting & Dynamic Environments Testing, Volume 7

Preface Sensors and Instrumentation, Aircraft/Aerospace, Energy Harvesting &Dynamic Environments Testing represent one of eight volumes of technical papers presented at the 38th IMAC, A Conference and Exposition on Structural Dynamics, organized by the Society for Experimental Mechanics, and held in Houston, Texas, February 10–13, 2020. The full proceedings also include volumes on Nonlinear Structures and Systems; Dynamic Substructures; Model Validation and Uncertainty Quantification; Dynamic Substructures; Special Topics in Structural Dynamics & Experimental Techniques; Rotating Machinery, Optical Methods & Scanning LDV Methods; and Topics in Modal Analysis &Testing. Each collection presents early findings from experimental and computational investigations on an important area within sensors and instrumentation and other structural dynamics areas. Topics represent papers on calibration, smart sensors, practical issues improving energy harvesting measurements, shock calibration and shock environment synthesis, and applications for aircraft/aerospace structures. The organizers would like to thank the authors, presenters, session organizers, and session chairs for their participation in this track.
